Parents Blame Pampers for Rashes and Blisters

Pampers, a popular diaper brand distributed across the country developed a new diaper technology that keeps diapers thinner and drier but is receiving complaints that the diaper causes their babies to suffer from painful, blistering rashes.

The diapers that contain the new supposed dry max technology are considered high performance diapers according to Pamper’s website. Yet thousands of parents are posting pictures and comments of the symptoms that their baby is suffering as a result of wearing the diapers. Parents are stating that their children never suffered from these types of ailments before they began the use of these diapers. There are approximately 11,000 people nationwide who have made claims against the diapers. Proctor and Gamble have denied the claims that there is any problem with the diapers and claims that they considered more than 20,000 babies and more than 300,000 diaper changes during its safety evaluation. Starting in January 2010 there have been 57 reported injuries from the defective diapers.

For parents with babies, hundreds of diapers are put to use during a baby’s lifetime. You trust that these products have been safely tested and that they have no chance of causing any physical harm to your baby. The manufactures have the responsibility to the consumer to recall defective products and to take responsibility if their product is causing any harm. Watching a baby suffer a physical ailment should never occur to any parent.
