69 Vehicles Involved in Massive Pileup in Phoenix
Arizona authorities responded to a 69-vehicle pileup that occurred on Interstate 10 near the Downtown Phoenix area. The vehicles were involved in 3 separate collisions according to a report on KWTX.com.
Several people were treated on site for minor injuries and six people were taken to local hospitals, two with serious injuries. According to the report, the accident occurred after a rainstorm traveled through the Phoenix area on Saturday afternoon. Poor weather conditions are among the highest reasons for automobile accidents.
