Four people riding in motorcycles and the passenger of a Dodge Avenger were killed Saturday the 13h when the Dodge Avenger collided with 12 motorcycles in San Diego, CA. The driver in the Avenger was attempting to avoid hitting a Honda Civic that had driven past the 12 motorcycles.

According to the Northwest Herald in Illinois, a 42-year-old man was killed following an early morning car accident on the 14th of November. Pedro Gomez was reportedly walking along the road when a 1991 Honda vehicle struck him. The vehicle was driven by 60-year-old Richard Trevin.

In Phoenix, Arizona, two teenagers are suffering life-threatening injuries following an automobile accident. A 14-year-old boy was driving a 1999 Chrysler LHS at a high rate of speed and collided with a fence. One of the metal poles from the fence pierced through the front of the car and impaled the driver and a passenger in the backseat.

Unfortunately many families are unaware that ATV riding produces more accidents than motorcycles, according to ATVsafety.gov. In Sumner County, KA a tragic ATV accident left one man dead and a woman critically injured on Saturday, October 17th at around 11pm.

The family of a 25-year-old man that was killed in Galveston, TX has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against R.D. Mainor Enterprises Inc, residents of Galveston Orvel Speck, Michael Drager and Robert Mainor arguing that Speck left a bar owned and operated by Drager and Mainor and was in an intoxicated state. The suit claims as a result of that intoxicated state, Speck slammed into Albert Meredith, his 3-year-old stepson and a second child.

According to a report on medisonrecord.com, an Illinois man is seeking $50,000 following an automobile accident in which he suffered severe injuries. Brian Sabatino, the driver of the vehicle that was struck, is suing Ann W. Behne arguing that Behne crossed dividing line traveling in the opposite direction of the roadway he was on and struck his vehicle.

The family of a San Diego man who was shot to death by Harbor Police two years ago has come to a settlement in their wrongful death lawsuit against the Unified Port of San Diego. According to the report on signonsandiego.com, the tentative settlement was in the amount of $2.5 million. The incident occurred in July of 2008 when 37-year-old Steven Paul Hirschfield jumped off of a cruise ship that was chartered for a gay pride weekend.

A 56-year-old man was killed last year when his big rig fell off the side of the Bay Bridge in California. Now the man’s family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the California Department of Transportation and other companies arguing that they were negligent in the construction of the bridge and roadway. The incident occurred on November 9th when 56-year-old Tahir Sheikh Fakhar was driving his big rig transporting fruit and was unable to negotiate an S-curve on the bridge.

The family of a popular Kentucky radio host has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the hospital where she was receiving care, claiming the hospital was negligent in providing care to her. Francene Cucinello died this past January after she suffered a brain aneurysm and a heart attack while in the hospital. The lawsuit claims the hospital failed to diagnose Cucinello’s brain aneurysm that occurred 2 days after she was admitted to the hospital.

In a report from Ohio CBS affiliate 10tv.com, an Ohio man pleaded not guilty to sixteen misdemeanor charges stemming from an October 5th dog attack. According to the report, four dogs attacked 67-year-old James Bright while he was walking along an intersection in Columbus, OH. Bright had to undergo three surgeries to repair damage from the attack including skin grafts.
