University Football Player Dies of Head Injuries after Car Accident
In Kansas City, a university football player was killed and several others injured in a single-vehicle automobile accident that occurred June 10th. The 18-year-old student died of head injuries that he sustained in the accident. The incident occurred when the car was headed down a two-lane roadway when it swerved to avoid another car in front. The vehicle subsequently rolled over into a nearby yard. Police did not believe alcohol or high speeds were factors in this accident. The football player that was killed was a passenger in the vehicle that was involved.

This incident demonstrates how easily obstructions on the road, including other vehicles, can be overlooked and ultimately cause serious accidents. As a result of this accident, an 18-year-old football player has lost his life and two others were also injured.
