The Silencer S2200 Recalled
Global Focus Marketing & Distribution, Ltd. has issued a voluntary recall of The Silencer S2200 centrifuge. Incidents have been reported as a result of this defective product and can result in personal injury and biohazard risks.
Recalled items affect "serial numbers 0493128 through 0798286 sold from 03/17/1995 through 12/01/1998, serial numbers 98267203 through 06067205 sold from 11/06/1998 through 06/30/2006, and demo units 04084R01 through 09274R01 sold from 03/31/2004 through 10/14/2009 nationwide. The model number can be found on the front of the centrifuge and the serial number can be found on the back." Customers who are in possession of any defective items should discontinue use immediately and contact the manufacturer.
Customers who have been injured or suffered illness due to a faulty product may be entitled to monetary compensation. U.S. product liability laws allow consumers of defective products to sue for financial recovery for injuries they suffer because of an unsafe product.
