Shades Recalled for Asphyxiation Hazard

Roman Shades made by The Shade Store have been voluntarily recalled due to posing an asphyxiation hazard for children. The shades are made out of wood and fabric but do not have any permanent labeling. Customers are advised to contact The Shade Store for a repair kit.

Roman Shades were sold between February 2006 and March 2011 by several retailers. Customers my contact The Shade Store or the Window Covering Safety Council for more information regarding this recalled product.

Customers who have been injured due to a defective product may be entitled to financial compensation. U.S. product liability laws allow consumers of defective products to sue for financial recovery for injuries they suffer because of an unsafe product.
