One Killed, Two Injured Following Scuffle over Dog Bite
A Houston, TX man was killed and two others were injured after a scuffle that came about because of a dog bite. The incident occurred early this week when the three people involved were at a party. One of the people got upset after he was bitten in the leg at the party. The man confronted the dog owner and left the party soon after. The man came back later in the day with a gun and killed the dog owner and wounded two others in the scuffle.
One of the two people injured was released from medical care and the second was forced to undergo surgery due to non-life-threatening injuries. Police were unable to locate the gunman following the incident.
It is a natural reaction when a person reacts angrily after being attacked and bitten by a dog. However, there are many ways that an incident can be resolved without resorting to some sort of violence. This is also true if the dog in question is one that is known to act aggressively toward others in the neighborhood or one that is known to have attacked and bitten others.
